Over the past several months I’ve gotten into a really good habit of running and tracking what I’m eating. The past few weeks, I’ve haven’t. I’ve been avoiding the gym, and eating crap, and (shocking!) I’ve had no energy and felt awful. I’ve been through this cycle before, usually people start making comments that they notice my progress and I think I can handle not being so on top of my health and before I know it, I’m not in a good place again.
Today I was back to my Fitness Pal, back on the treadmill, and after just a 2 mile run and a day (so far) of veggies and fruit- I feel 100x better. Maybe it’s in my head, but I need to remember what a difference the healthy habits that I know I am capable of keeping up with, make in my life.
